Emma Joliffe

Writer and creative Emma is a many-hatted procrastinator, who DJs with her civil partner in crime under the name Lemur Beats. They are part of the Mixfits, a local female DJ collective, playing an eclectic selection of house, techno, disco and afrobeats. As well as DJing, Emma maintains a voracious attitude to music (which led to weekly lock in music quizzes for many pandemic months- at least while zoom was still vaguely novel). She is producing a new night locally called Wonkyoke, which mixes karaoke with games, such as the marshmallow ballad challenge and the bargain bin.
